New ‘Alien: Covenant’ Prologue Shows What Happened to Noomi Rapace’s Character
Many questions surrounding the fate of 2 characters from the Alien franchise are being answered in a new Alien: Covenant prologue video released by 20th Century Fox, today. If you wondered what happened to Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and David’s head (Michael Fassbender) between Ridley Scott’s Prometheus and its upcoming sequel, the suspense will be over (well, not entirely) after you’ve watched the almost 3-minute long prologue, below…
In the sequence, we discover Elizabeth and David were we left them at the end of Prometheus, after they escaped from distant moon LV-223 (when it all went wacko) in an Engineer spaceship, on their way to the Engineers’ homeworld with a question or two for their makers. We also discover how David’s head has been reattached to his body. No surprise there: “Green to green, red to red – it’s meant to be simple,” (duh!).
Of course, the video is only here to fuel our curiosity, which is why it ends just before the spaceship lands on the Engineers’ planet. For the rest, we’ll just have to wait until the release of Alien: Covenant on May 19!
