Dylan O’Brien Takes You Behind the Scenes of Maze Runner: The Death Cure
Dylan O’Brien made a funny apparition in a 2-minute long video during the MTV Movie & TV Awards last weekend to let you know that everything was going great on the set of Maze Runner: The Death Cure. As part of this behind-the-scenes first look at the third and final installment in the Maze Runner film series, expect to see many mysterious hallways where lots of important things happen.
Directed by Wes Ball, who already worked on the 2 first opuses of the trilogy based on the series of books written by James Dashner, Maze Runner: The Death Cure will see Thomas (O’Brien) and the surviving Gladers prepare to face off against WCKD one last time as they fight to find a cure for the deadly disease known as ‘The Flare’ that has wiped out most of the world.
Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Dexter Darden, Nathalie Emmanuel, Giancarlo Esposito, Aidan Gillen, Ki Hong Lee, Barry Pepper, Rosa Salazar, and Patricia Clarkson will all return for this ultimate chapter of the saga.
Originally set to hit theatres on February 17, 2017, Maze Runner: The Death Cure had its release date rescheduled to February 9, 2018 in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D after its lead actor, Dylan O’Brien, was injured on-set and hospitalized, which forced the whole production to be postponed after the accident.
