Daniel Radcliffe Gets Lost in the Wild in First Trailer for Survival Movie Jungle
Based on real events, Jungle will follow the unbelievable survival story of Yossi Ghinsberg (Daniel Radcliffe), an Israeli adventurer who finds himself, along with 2 other friends, stranded in the Bolivian jungle after being led by a fraudulent guide.

The film, directed by Greg McLean (Wolf Creek, The Belko Experiment), also stars Thomas Kretschmann, Alex Russell, and Joel Jackson.
It is based on Ghinsberg’s 2015 novel, Jungle: A Harrowing True Story of Survival in the Amazon, about his 3-week long, traumatizing experience as he was only 21 years old. Ghinsberg is now 58 and an entrepreneur, humanitarian and motivational speaker.
For the purpose of the movie, actually shot in Colombia, Daniel Radcliffe went on a pretty drastic diet in order to look the part. “I’m not in any way a method actor, but if I’m playing a guy who’s starving and I’m going home at night and tucking into a f-ing pizza, I’m making it much harder for myself to do my job,” explained the British actor during an interview with GQ.
