By telling the story of animals that dress, talk and move like humans in a modern universe, directors Byron P. Howard and Rich Moore wanted not only to revive the spirit of Disney’s classic, Robin Hood (1973), but also tackle an important topic: bias. That’s how the project of Zootopia, which went on to win an Academy Award for best animated movie, came to life.
