Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph 2 Gets a Title and a Release Date

The much-loved brute and his cute, chatty friend will return for the sequel of Wreck-It Ralph in 2018! And, while the storyline of the upcoming animated movie is still a secret, Disney has finally revealed what its title will be.

Ralph Breaks the Internet is set to hit theatres on March 9, 2018, and will mark the return of John C. Reilly (Ralph), Sarah Silverman (Vanellope), Jack McBrayer (Fix-It Felix), and Jane Lynch (Sergeant Calhoun) behind the voices of the familiar main characters.

Once again directed by Rich Moore (who just won an Oscar for Zootopia), the sequel will once more focus on the singular relationship between the used-to-be villain, Ralph, and the young Sugar Rush princess and racing car driver, Vanellope von Schweetz.

Phil Johnston, who will co-direct and pen this much-awaited second chapter said about the story: “At the center of this film, as in the first one, is the relationship between Ralph and Vanellope, two once-outcasts, who in each other, found true friendship.”
