Lady Gaga Shares First Look at ‘A Star is Born’ Remake

While filming the first scenes of the remake of A Star is Born at the Coachella music festival, Lady Gaga (who will be credited under her real name, Stefani Germanotta) posted a very first look at the movie on Instagram that introduces her as young singer Ally and Bradley Cooper as tormented movie star Jackson Maine.

The picture came with the caption: “I am so excited to star in my first movie alongside someone I’m so lucky to call my friend. I always wanted to be an actress on the big screen. The story of “A Star is Born” is so special and I’m so grateful to Bradley for making my dream come true. Can’t wait for you to meet Ally. She has her first scene in 5….”

Scheduled to be released on September 28, 2018, the film will be directed by Bradley Cooper himself. The 42-year-old actor, who recently became a dad, has declared that being a director had always been his greatest dream.

Third remake of the 1937 movie of the same name, A Star is Born will tell the story of Ally, an aspiring singer who will be helped to find fame by a self-destructive movie star.
