Cars 3 Gets a Brand New Trailer

Disney/Pixar has posted a brand new trailer for Cars 3 that sheds some new light on the challenges its main character, Lightning McQueen, will have to face in this third chapter of the animated franchise.

Owen Wilson will return behind the voice of the famous racing car who is now facing the difficulty to stay current after a new generation of racers comes to replace him. Not ready to throw the towel on his successful career just yet, McQueen will begin a new training journey to prove he’s still the best race car in the world.

To make his big comeback, McQueen will need to follow the advice of young trainer, Cruz Ramirez (voiced by stand-up comedian, Cristela Alonzo), in order to beat the new star of the circuits, Jackson Storm (Armie Hammer).

In addition, the voice cast will also include the newcomers Nathan Fillion, Kerry Washington and Lea DeLaria.

Cars 3 is expected to hit theatres on June 16.
