Stephen King’s It New Trailer Offers a Closer Look at Creepy Clown Pennywise

The terrifying clown Pennywise is back in a new trailer for Andrés Muschietti’s adaptation of Stephen King’s spooky 1986 novel, It.

In this second video teasing the upcoming horror film, supposedly part of a duology, we follow the group of kids from small town Derry, Maine, on their way to face their deepest fears incarnated by an evil clown who has been terrorizing children for centuries.

It’s chilling. It’s disturbing. It makes us jump out of our skin. In short, it’s pretty much exactly what it should be. Just try not to drop that cup of coffee as you hop off your seat.

It is set to come out on September 8, 2017 and will star Nicholas Hamilton, Stranger Things Finn Wolfhard, Javier Botet, Wyatt Oleff (who plays young Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy), Jaeden Lieberher, Megan Charpentier, and Bill Skarsgård under the make-up of the monstrous Pennywise.
