Watch The Heartwarming Trailer for Goodbye Christopher Robin

We are all familiar with the cute adventures of Winnie the Pooh, but there is very little we know about its creator, Alan Alexander Milne… Fox Searchlight’s touching movie, Goodbye Christopher Robin, will introduce us to the life of the British writer after he came back from his service in WWI, and more specifically, his very special relationship with his son, Christopher Robin, who became his main source of inspiration for the famous children books about the friendly little bear.

Take a look at the first moving trailer for the film, below.

The production will mark the reunion of Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie, 4 years after the romantic comedy About Time. The actors will play A. A. Milne and his wife, Daphne de Sélincourt.

The duo will also be joined by Kelly Macdonald, who will play Olive, Christopher Robin’s nanny, and for the first time onscreen, Will Tilston as the young dreamer, C. R. Milne.

Directed by Simon Curtis (My Week With Marilyn), Goodbye Christopher Robin will be released on October 13.
