Is Marriage Dead? Lake Bell Wonders in the Trailer for I Do… Until I Don’t

Lake Bell and Ed Helms go through a dry spell in the first trailer for the comedy about marriage, I Do… Until I Don’t.

Written and directed by Bell, the movie will follow 3 couples as they go through different stages of their marriages while becoming subjects of a film aiming to prove that every union has an expiration date.

 

After she made her directorial debuts with the critically acclaimed In a World – in which she played a vocal coach competing with her father to get a gig doing the voice-over on a trailer for a big-budget movie – Lake Bell returns behind and in front of the camera to direct Ed Helms, Amber Heard, Wyatt Cenac, Mary Steenburgen and Paul Reiser in what seems like a very original and touching comedy about relationships.

I Do… Until I Don’t will come to theatres on September 1.
