    American Made

Tom Cruise is one of those actors we love despite all the reasons we shouldn't. Who best, then, could portray real-life daredevil Barry Seal, a self-absorbed TWA pilot turned CIA spy, turned drug smuggler, turned DEA informant during the '80s, in the newly-released American Made? In a role that fits him like a glove, Cruise, under the direction of Doug Liman (whom the actor previously worked with for the fine Edge of Tomorrow in 2014), begins a journey in the shoes of the infamous, thrill-seeker airman as he switched sides based on the highest bidder, from working for a commercial airline to becoming an asset to Pablo Escobar's Medellín Cartel, until his luck eventually ran out.

    Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Hold on to your good manners, the Kingsmen are finally returning for a sequel with Kingsman: The Golden Circle - once more written and directed by the gifted Matthew Vaughn - a follow-up heavily loaded with more action, jokes and cheeky scenes audiences loved so much the first time round! 3 years after the success of Kingsman: The Secret Service, which introduced the charming Taron Egerton as rookie spy Eggsy in a universe that sometimes mocked, sometimes paid homage with a spark of craziness to classic secret agent movies (the 007 series in particular), it's with a lot of excitement that we check in on the classy organization and its stylish members.

    Mother!

Him (Javier Bardem) is a poet struggling to find inspiration and step back into the spotlight who's said to have lost "everything" in a terrible fire. Mother (Jennifer Lawrence) is his selfless young wife who's dedicated to make him happy with her unconditional support and by making their home a "paradise". One day, a stranger (Ed Harris) shows up on the doorstep of their isolated, imposing Victorian house after mistaking it for a B&B. Surprised by her husband's decision to let him stay over "as long as he wants", the woman will try, as best as she can, to accept it. What she doesn't know yet...

    It

Coincidence or marketing genius, the new adaptation of Stephen King's terrifying classic It just came out today, 27 years after Tommy Lee Wallace's 1990 TV version starring the brilliant Tim Curry as the now famous, frightening clown, Pennywise, who successfully traumatized an entire generation. A not so innocent timing (fans of the book probably knew that already) actually reminiscent of that from the original story itself in which the interval between each of the evil entity's resurgences to terrorize the small town of Derry, Maine, is the exact same period of time. (Clever, eh?)
