Afterlife Thriller Flatliners Unveiled in First Trailer

What happens after you’ve died and come back to life multiple times? The answer is: a lot of creepy stuff! That is according to the remake Flatliners, featuring Ellen Page, Diego Luna, and Nina Dobrev.

 

“It’s a good day to die,” says James Norton in the first trailer of the movie, reboot of Joel Schumacher’s 1990 film of the same name (which starred Kevin Bacon, Julia Roberts, William Baldwin, and Kiefer Sutherland) following a group of 5 medical students who, hoping to gain insight into the mystery of what lies beyond the confines of life, embark on a daring and dangerous experiment by stopping their hearts for short periods of time. At first experiencing life and death at their utmost magnitudes, the young people will soon discover that playing with the afterlife has serious – and terrifying – consequences.

Directed by Niels Arden Oplev (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), Flatliners is set to hit theatres on September 29.
