Tom Holland Tries to Prove Himself in the New Spider-Man: Homecoming Trailer

Sony Pictures has released a second trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming that unveils more details about the challenges Peter Parker (Tom Holland) will face in the brand new Marvel reboot.

In the video (below), we discover that Spidey will have a few relationship issues with his mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) as he struggles to deal with his superhero identity and responsibilities. In addition, we also discover Michael Keaton as Parker’s new adversary, Vulture, a man with criminal tendencies who runs a New York salvaging company and has a suit consisting of mechanical wings.

Scheduled to be released on July 7, Spider-Man: Homecoming will be the second reboot of the Spider-Man franchise and the 16th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, 5 years after Andrew Garfield rocked the red tights for the first time in The Amazing Spider-Man series.

Directed by Jon Watt, the movie will also star Marisa Tomei, Donald Glover, Jon Favreau, and Zendaya.
