Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Ends Up in Hell in Shot Caller Trailer

Set to premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 16, Shot Caller is already making waves online with a dark and violent trailer that puts Nikolaj Coster-Waldau through hell and back.

In Shot Caller, directed by Ric Roman Waugh (Snitch, Felon), The Game of Thrones actor plays Jacob Harlon, a family man who, after having served a sentence for the accidental death of a friend, is forced by the leaders of a gang he joined in prison to orchestrate a major crime with a brutal rival gang on the streets of Southern California.

The movie’s cast also includes Lake Bell, Jon Bernthal, Emory Cohen, Jeffrey Donovan, Evan Jones, Benjamin Bratt and Holt McCallany, and Omari Hardwick.

After it premieres in LA, Shot Caller will be released on July 20 through DirectTV Cinema before hitting theatres on August 18.
