The First Trailer for the Musical ‘The Greatest Showman’ with Hugh Jackman Debuts Online

20th Century Fox revealed today what it has in stock for us this upcoming Christmas with the release of the show-stopping official trailer for The Greatest Showman, featuring Hugh Jackman as the founder of an American circus, coined ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’.

The movie, directed by Michael Gracey, is a biographical musical inspired by the imagination of businessman P. T. Barnum aiming to celebrate the birth of show business and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.

 

The Greatest Showman was co-written by Beauty and the Beast director, Bill Condon, and will include original songs from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, Dear Evan Hanson). The film’s beautiful cast also counts Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson and Zendaya.

The Greatest Showman is set to be released on Christmas Day.
